Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy applies to the website www.jfdavignon.solutions, operated by 13998550 Canada Inc. (JFDavignon.Solutions). It explains what personal information the site collects, why, and how to exercise your rights under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
The Louis application has its own privacy policy, which applies whenever you use it: Louis privacy policy.
In short: this site uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no forms. We only collect personal information if you choose to write to us or book a meeting.
What the site does not collect
- No cookies, and nothing stored in your browser.
- No analytics (such as Google Analytics), no advertising, no tracking from one visit to the next.
- No scripts: the pages contain no code that runs in your browser.
- No third-party resources: fonts and images are served by our own server, so your visit is not disclosed to any other company.
Server logs
Our server does not keep a log of the pages you view. It may record technical errors (for example a failed connection), which can include the IP address of the device involved. These logs are used only to keep the site working and secure; they are kept briefly and erased automatically as new entries replace them.
When you write to us
If you write to info@jfdavignon.solutions, we receive your email address, your name if it appears, and the content of your message. We use them only to answer you and follow up on your request, and keep them as long as needed for that purpose. Our email is hosted by Proton AG, in Switzerland.
When you book a meeting
The “Book a demo” and “Book an appointment” buttons lead to a Proton Calendar booking page operated by Proton AG (Switzerland). The information you give there (name, email address, chosen time slot and any note) is sent to us so we can hold the meeting and follow up. Proton’s privacy policy also applies to that page.
Hosting and transfers outside Québec
The site is hosted in Canada, in OVHcloud’s data centre in Beauharnois, Québec. Our email and booking tool are hosted in Switzerland by Proton, a country whose law is recognized as providing adequate protection of personal information. We do not sell or rent personal information, and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Links to other sites
The site links to other sites, such as the Louis application, the Visual Studio Marketplace or the Agile Manifesto. When you follow those links, those sites’ privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to its use. Write to the person in charge below; we will answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If a confidentiality incident presented a risk of serious injury, we would notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
