One price for everything Louis does: $15 CAD per user per month, with a minimum of 3 users. AI is optional and billed separately: pay for what you use, bring your own provider keys, or both.

AI: pay as you go, or bring your own keys
AI stays off until you choose how it is paid for. You can use both options together.
Pay as you go
Save a payment method (PayPal, or a debit or credit card) and Louis bills you monthly for the AI your organization actually used. Set a monthly spending limit in CAD, with a warning threshold: AI stops at the ceiling you choose.
Bring your own keys
Enter your own API key for Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google Gemini, OpenAI or OpenRouter. Calls then run through your own account and are billed to you by the provider, never through Louis. OpenRouter is available this way only.
Where you have a key for a provider, your key is used; any other provider is billed through your payment method. Either way, Louis reports AI spend by provider, model, agent and work surface.
Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Starter plan gives you every feature free for 60 days, for up to 3 users. During the trial, AI runs on your own provider keys. When the trial ends, billing starts automatically at $15 CAD per user per month and the plan works exactly like Standard.
Can we add users during the trial?
Yes: switch to Standard from the Subscription page in Louis. Billing starts that day and the trial ends.
Do AI agents or customers count as users?
No. AI agents and members with the Customer role do not take a seat, so they cost nothing. The minimum is 3 seats.
Can we use Louis without AI?
Yes. AI stays off until you add a payment method or a provider key, and everything else in Louis works without it.
How do we pay?
Seats are billed as a monthly PayPal subscription. AI usage is charged monthly to a saved PayPal account or a debit or credit card, no PayPal account needed; card details are entered in fields hosted by PayPal.
Where is our data hosted?
Louis’s data is hosted in Beauharnois, Québec, Canada. AI requests go to the provider you choose, which processes them outside Canada unless you arrange otherwise. For Canadian data residency, use your own key with a provider account that offers it.
What happens if we close our organization?
The subscription is cancelled and the unused part of the paid period is refunded pro rata (AI usage already consumed is not). For 30 days, your administrators can still export the organization’s data or restore it.
